Dr. Günhan Alanoğlu was born in Antalya. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. He earned his undergraduate degree from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry and completed his specialization training at the Periodontology Clinic of the Gülhane Military Medical Academy Dental Institute.

 

Between 1984 and 1999, he served as a military dentist in various institutions, including the Gendarmerie Officer School Infirmary, Etimesgut Air Hospital, Turkish Air Force Headquarters Health Department, GATA Dental Institute, and Eskişehir Air Hospital Dental Clinic. In 1999, he retired from the Air Force with the rank of Senior Colonel.

 

Following his retirement, he began serving patients in his private clinic in Eskişehir. In 2011, he co-founded 3A Oral and Dental Health Clinic with his wife Dr. Nihal Alanoğlu and son Dr. Can Alanoğlu, where he also served as the Chief Physician. After the closure of the 3A Clinic in 2022, he joined the team at CANPOL Oral and Dental Health Clinic, established by his son Dr. Can Alanoğlu, and continues his professional practice there.

 

His professional interests include periodontal diseases and surgery, surgical operations, implant surgery, porcelain and zirconium crowns, and gum aesthetics.
